However, every. single. file. required editing to get the best out of the images. all. the. time.

I couldn't be bothered needing to edit every file for the marginal increase in image quality compared to other camera systems. I took roughly 10,000 photos with the original A7R, 5,000 with the A7R M2 and only 200 with the A7R M3 before I realised honestly didn't enjoy this and why I was putting up it.

So I got rid of all my Sony gear and moved to Fujifilm only.

Best decision for me really, and I haven't missed Sony at all. I won't provide a written review of them, I honestly can't be bothered any more. Sufficed to say they are great cameras with great tech and will produce great images - if you put the work into them - but they are really not that fun to use, or edit. So that's that... enjoy the images though.

ps. some of the most favourite images were captured using the A7R (original) and the Zeiss C Sonnar 1,5/50mm adapted Leica mount lens. This worked beautifully and I attribute the images to the lens and 36MP sensor. Later Mark2 and Mark3 cameras really didn't work so well, even my wife says so and she loved the images from the original Mark1

pps. I only haver product shot of the original Mark1 because I really couldn't't be bothered to do the same for the Mark2 and 3
